Apprentice Auto Body Painter

 Fix Auto in Abbotsford East is BUSY and we are seeking an apprentice painter to join our great team!   The successful candidate can earn from $20 per hour, depending on skill level.

Working closely with the Journeyman Painters, the Apprentice will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint.  Through the apprenticeship, you will become a creative master in paint jobs as well as other skills, learning how to properly apply materials with different techniques, colour matching, masking and proper prep skills for best quality of repair.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support the painters in creating work plans and organizing paint materials.
• Prep vehicle surfaces and applies finish.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Other duties as required. 

Our Ideal Requirements:

• Apprenticeship in Automotive Refinishing is preferred.
• Experience working in a body shop or detailing is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure vehicles are prepped and painted correctly the first time.
• A team player with a positive attitude who is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A high school diploma and a valid Driver’s License
