We are currently seeking to fill the upcoming position of “Assistant Body Shop Manager”. The successful candidate will have excellent estimating skills, and a good understanding of overall daily operations in the automotive collision repair industry.

Primary duties of this position are, but not limited to: Assisting and meeting the needs of all customers, Accurately estimating damaged vehicles, Ensuring Key Performance Indicators are being reached and maintained, Daily production and scheduling of customers vehicles, Regular communication with customers, keeping customers informed and up to date with the progress of their vehicle throughout the repair process, ensuring quality control standards are being met on all vehicles and vehicles checked prior to delivery to the customer, continuous communication with all employee’s throughout the workday, ensuring daily production targets are met, while maintaining a clean, safe & organized work environment.

Beyond the regular requirements traditionally expected of an Assistant Body Shop Manager, the following technical qualifications & requirements are needed.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to successfully multi-task through daily operations, good computer skills, and strong understanding of industry software and estimating platforms, be proactive, and responsible for achieving company goals and maintaining the overall integrity, and good standing of the facility, proficient problem solving and communication skills while working closely with the Shop Manager, ICBC and I-Car estimating certification.
