Automotive Service Technician

Responsibilities:

Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
Complete work orders and reports on schedule
Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive issues.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify potential problems.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately determine vehicle issues.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
Continuously learn and stay updated on new automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive service technician (Years 2-4 of apprenticeship or completion of the four-year program).
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
