The Parts Manager is responsible for running a profitable and efficient parts department. They are responsible for the proper purchasing and inventory control of automotive parts. They oversee and manage parts staff. Parts managers help to ensure the efficiency and productivity of the store’s service and repair operations. They also use sales and marketing skills to increase revenue by selling parts to customers.

  • Post-Secondary Technical Training
  • Strong knowledge of automotive equipment parts and accessories with extensive experience in an automotive parts department.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Sales knowledge, ability and experience
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computerized equipment maintenance system.
  • Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
