Automotive Refinishing Technician
Automotive refinishing technicians prepare vehicles to be painted and then paint them. They are responsible for applying paint coats for touch-up repairs or just to satisfy a customer’s desire to change the car’s color. Automotive refinishing technicians make cosmetic repairs to vehicles and repaint them, often after a vehicle that was involved in a collision has been repaired by the collision repair technicians in the same shop.
