Licensed Automotive Salesperson
The Sales Person guides customers in selecting and purchasing new or pre-owned vehicles. Duties generally include greeting customers and developing strong relationships; developing and maintaining full knowledge of current products, accessories, prices and key features and listening to customer needs, addressing customer questions and providing recommendations for new and pre-owned vehicles. The Sales Person also promotes and sells manufacturer and dealership sales and accessory promotions and provides customers with an estimate of cost for the vehicle of choice. The Person is responsible for all documentation paperwork, checking vehicle prior to customer turnover and preparing for the delivery process; handling customer complaints and ensuring high customer satisfaction. He/she makes prospecting calls and follows-up with customer within dealership guidelines.
